The grant is available to businesses within the City of Adelaide that:
- employ between 1 to 20 employees; and
- occupy non-residential properties; and
- contribute between $0 to $15,000 in council rates annually for the space they occupy.
Eligible businesses can apply for a cash reimbursement equivalent to 50% of the third quarter 2021–22 financial year rates.
The grant program is open to 31 March 2022.
Businesses must provide proof of a 30% loss of revenue for the Defined Loss Period, to align with the Government of South Australia Business Support Grants (currently $40 million).
All eligible businesses are encouraged to lodge an application for the Government of South Australia Tourism, Hospitality and Gym Grant or Business Hardship Grant initially in order to streamline their application.
A successful applicant for the State’s Tourism, Gym and Hospitality Grant and/or Business Hardship Grant will be automatically deemed a successful applicant for the Grant.
