Coronavirus & Leave Entitlements
Essentially:
- If an employee is Covid positive – then sick leave would apply.
- If an employee is isolating due to being a close contact and returns a negative test – Annual leave, RDO, LSL will apply, but not sick leave.
- If they are required to stay home to provide care (this would make them a close contact) – 3 days Carers Leave (this is taken from their sick leave accrual) and then other leave entitlements.
