Wayne commenced his career in the accounting profession in 1986 firstly working for Giles & Giles (now William Buck) who had a substantial rural client base around the Mid North & Yorke Peninsula. During this period he was involved Australian Rural Management Services (A.R.M.S), who provided bookkeeping and accounting services to many primary producers.
After about 2 years at William Buck, Wayne joined Fennell Allen & Co (now Pitcher Partners) who specialised in business services and property development.
Thereafter, Wayne had a short stint at Giles and Fleetwood before joining Spear, Walters & Lloyd for 4 years (now Walker Wayland). Some years later Barrie Lloyd who employed Wayne, joined him to create today’s practice of Henson Lloyd.
After his time at Walker Wayland, in 1994 Wayne purchased a small accounting practice called Burgan & Associates. When he first took over Burgan & Associates the practice had fees of $164,000 and 3 employees. Today Henson Lloyd has almost $2,000,000 in annual fees and employs 15 people.
Wayne’s considerable business experience assists him to help clients achieve their business goals. Wayne has a desire to see businesses succeed and works closely with his clients conducting regular management meetings.
